Dr. Patel opened Bay Vision in November 2020. She takes great pride in providing an exceptionally high standard of care for her patients. She has made the practice family-oriented, seeing patients as young as 4. Every comprehensive exam with her evaluates the health of one's eyes as well as determining eyeglasses and/or contact lenses prescriptions.
Dr. Patel is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science at the University of Tennessee in 2010 and her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in 2015.
Dr. Patel practices full-scope optometry including co-managing pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract, LASIK, and PRK patients, as well as diagnosing and treating a variety of eye injuries, acute infections or inflammation, and chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. She takes her time to truly listen to your concerns and thoroughly explain her findings and treatment recommendations.
When not at the office, you can find Dr. Patel traveling with her husband and daughter. She is actively involved in the community and volunteers with Remote Area Medical to provide free eye exams to those in need annually.
Dr. Chelsi Quo is originally from Wellington, Florida and completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree with the highest honors at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Quo enjoys working with patients of all ages, taking pride in building relationships and providing personalized, patient-focused eye care. She has worked and trained in a number of different settings, from private practice to corporate retail and ophthalmology. Dr. Quo specializes in primary eye care, contact lenses and managing ocular diseases. In her free time, Dr. Quo loves spending time traveling, working out and going to the beautiful beaches of St. Petersburg.
Dr. Rottgers grew up in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2003. She graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2007. During her time in optometry school, she worked as a technician for a local private practice and volunteered on a humanitarian mission in Honduras. After graduating, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she worked in both corporate and private practices. Eventually, her husband’s job moved them back to the south and has been living in St. Petersburg since 2016. In her time away from the office, Dr. Rottgers enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband. She likes traveling, cooking, and working out.
